The Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), owner of the Dalmahoy Golf and Country Club, Edinburgh has appointed Hamilton Hotel Partners (Hamilton), the hotel advisory firm and independent management company, to help transition the hotel from its current branded operator to an independent hotel and then oversee ongoing performance.
Hamilton were asked to facilitate the transition after ADIA and Marriott mutually agreed to terminate the existing management contract on July 31st. The Dalmahoy property is not new to Hamilton as they have been asset managing the hotel on behalf of the owners for the past three years. (Dalmahoy is one hotel in the 42 strong portfolio that Hamilton actively asset manages on behalf of ADIA in the UK).

Asking them to manage the transition of the Dalmahoy’s management is a natural extension to the existing the work they have been undertaking for us”.
Hamilton’s growing portfolio of managed and asset managed hotels collectively has a value in excess of US$1 billion. Dalmahoy is the 36th hotel that Hamilton has managed in the last decade.
