Jose Rihan
• We are delighted to announce that Jose Rihan has been appointed Director. She will be responsible across all areas of the business.

• Jose joins Hamilton from Molinaro Koger, the US specialist hotel real estate broker, where she was vice president Europe for six years. Based in the company's London office, she worked on sales of high-end city centre and resort properties across the UK and Europe, including Marriott properties in Copenhagen, Prague and Brussels, the Great Eastern Hotel London, Sheraton Krakow Hotel, Forte Village Sardinia, Le Méridien Penina and Le Méridien Dona Filipa on Portugal's Algarve and properties at Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester.

• Previously, Jose was acquisitions manager for Hospitality Europe BV, responsible for the purchase of the Hyatt Regency, Charles de Gaulle, Paris and the Renaissance Hotel, Prague and before that, spent ten years at PKF. Her early career was spent in the marketing and finance divisions of InterContinental Hotels.
Le Méridien Gallia Hotel, Milan
 
• Hamilton has been appointed by Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment Company to asset manage the well known Le Méridien Gallia hotel in Milan. The Le Méridien Gallia is one of Milan's most established hotels overlooking the Piazza Duca d'Aosta. The hotel offers a restaurant and bar, ten meeting rooms for up to 600 people, a business centre and beauty salon. We are extremely proud to have been selected for this prestigious appointment and will be evaluating the hotel's re-branding potential within Starwood's family of brands and advise on appropriate capital expenditure and any necessary refurbishment.
The Hempel Hotel, London
 
• Private equity owners of London's Hempel Hotel have appointed Hamilton to manage this luxurious boutique hotel. Originally created by British designer Anouska Hempel the hotel has 43 guest rooms and seven apartments. We are looking forward to working closely with the management team and formulating and implementing strategies to ensure the financial success of the property.
Building the Future
• We are currently working actively on a number of hotel developments (which of course we hope will become asset management or direct management appointments in due course). These include the development of Moscow's finest independent boutique hotel right in the heart of the city, as well a new international hotel development in Dubai.
Upcoming Conferences
• We regularly attend and are asked to speak at some of the hotel industry conferences and look forward to catching up with our existing clients and hopefully meeting some new ones at these events.
• Frank has been invited to speak at the European Real Estate Opportunity & Private Fund Investing Forum, hosted by the IMN on October 29th and 30th in London.
