In 2014, Maria joined Hamilton and became part of the team asset managing 42 branded properties in the UK. During the following five years she worked in all aspects of asset management, including financial analysis and reporting for the client, operational reviews at unit and cluster level and CAPEX planning and analysis.
In June 2019 she moved to Madrid, from where she will continue to work on ongoing assignments while becoming Hamilton’s point of contact for the Spanish market.
Prior to joining Hamilton, Maria was the lead analyst at ForwardKeys, where she leveraged air booking information to assess market trends, primarily to hotels and national tourism boards. Prior appointments include a two-year placement in the Singapore Office of the Spain Tourism Board, where she carried out market analysis of the APAC region.
Maria holds a degree of Business from ICADE University and a degree of Tourism from UNED University. She also holds a Certificate in Hotel Real Estate Investments and Asset Management from Cornell University.
